Welcome to the club for 19th Century Literature fans!

About our club:
While we may be called Victorian-Novels, we honor any literature (and the movie adaptations) written in the 19th Century. This includes not just Victorian works, but Georgian and other period works as well!

Please Read before joining or submitting anything into this group!

We would love to have you be a part of the club. All you need to do is click 'Join Group' at the top of the page.

Submitting Art:
Just click the 'submit art' button and select the right folder to place your art in.

Submission Rules:
1.Art related to mainly Victorian period literature or literature adaptions. I do also accept Georgian Era and Fanart of Period Drama.
2.Please Limit submissions to only 2 or 3 pieces per day.

I hope this is helpful and that as a fellow literature fanatic you enjoy the club.

I'm sorry everyone, things have been wicked hectic on my end and I just haven't had time come onto to dA for about a month. It's late and I'm too tired to get into details, but the contest WILL be extended. I will write up a full explanation in the coming days but I'm thinking that you'll get at least another WEEK to work on your entries.

Look out for another blog in the next couple of days with more info.

Thanks for your patience and for hanging in there with me while I get my life sorted out.
I really hope that this contest helps to ignite your imagination and feed your interests.

For all the information on the contest you can view our main page, the info is below the most recent journal.

Good luck and have fun!

Would Gilbert and Sullivan's Opera's count as literature? I mean, you can just read them like a book.

Hi :) I've just added a Jane Eyre pic [link] and I added it into the wrong folder, instead of adding it to the Jane Eyre folder I added it to the "Jane Eyre contest" folder instead, sorry for the inconvenience. :)
Love this gallery of Jane Austen and other regency items!
